Get a library card
• Applications are available at the circulation desk of the library.
• Adults will need to bring a valid Texas driver's license.
• A parent or guardian must sign applications for children and provide a valid Texas driver's license.
• The cost of all cards is $2.00 for those with a valid Texas license, regardless of where you live, for a one-year membership.
• For all others, the card fee is $10.00.

Computer Services
Our computers are equipped with:
• Educational games for children
• Microsoft Office programs such as Word, Excel, Access, and PowerPoint
• Reference materials
• Tutorials for all the office products and some of the reference programs
• A mouse tutorial
• Internet Explorer for free internet access
• Reference materials available from all computers
• TexShare Databases available from all computers
• Electronic catalog (Online Public Access Catalog)
Assistance with the computers is available from the library staff. Computer classes available upon request.
Free checkout of materials
• A large selection of books for children, youth, and adults
• 14-day check-out period for books and audiobooks
• Check-out period for videotapes is 7 days.
• A limited selection of children's and general interest videotapes
• Audio books for all ages
• Renewals allowed on all materials, unless item is placed on reserve.
• Reserve items
• Interlibrary loan available at libraryoftexas.org
